We are looking for a creative and energetic Marketing Intern to join our team. If you want to build a career in Marketing, have the passion for creating creative ideas and social media campaigns then this could be the opportunity for you.

If you are a recent graduate or in your last year in a Marketing program, we want you to join our team and work on the development and execution of social media strategies and campaigns that will elevate the brand and spread the word around Venue Genie.

• As a marketing intern you will have a number of responsibilities including:
• Market research and keep an eye on market updates and new venues around your city
• Know what works and what does not work on impactful social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
• Work with with Google tools (including Analytics and AdWords).
• Tighten up your writing style, and develop content for social media, blog posts and our website.
• But that’s just the basics. You’ll learn, well.. a lot about what a Genie can do!

Key Assumption

• Current enrolment in an undergraduate Marketing program or recent graduate
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Proficient in using Google Drive
• Fluent in both English and French
• A creative thinker, and have the ability to communicate complicated ideas in simple terms
• You know your city, love happening spots, and want to learn more!
• This is a 6-month internship position with a possibility of full-time employment afterwards.
